Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and Rush University in Chicago took second and third place in the ranking, released in October 2024.
RegisteredNursing.org every year build a nursing program database for all grade levels and majors across the United States using sources such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, the National Center for Education Statistics, the Office of Postsecondary Education Secondary of the United States Department of Education, and the Council for Community and Economic Research.
The organization filters programs that have closed or will be closed and programs with no enrollment data available.
